Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, Dr. Anne moved to Rome in 1986 to begin her training in Family Practice. Along the way, she accumulated several degrees. You may wish to review her CV for more details about her training.
Dr. Anne is married to a retired educator who taught at Rome Middle School the last ten years of his career. He has taught all over the state following Dr Anne's school career and has been with her through three college degrees and residency training. Supportive doesn't begin to describe his positive approach to her profession.

She is also the Medical Advisor for Peru Amazon Conservation, a non profit (501c3) organization whose mission is to operate in the Amazon basin of Peru, providing basic public health education to the reberenos or river people who inhabit this area. She was privileged to travel to this beautiful rainforest in August of 1999. June 2003 and again in June of 2007. She takes a son with her upon graduation from high school as a graduation gift and a way in which to impress upon him that we all have a debt to the Universe. By being born in America, we have all won the Life Lottery and this gives all of us a responsibility to make the world a better place.
